Will I need a car at university?

You do not need a car. The university has an inter-campus bus service that is available to all students. All campuses are also served locally by various trains and buses. You may find it useful to have a car if your programme of study includes a placement, for example you are a paramedic student. Placements can be up to 90 minutes from campus. However, a car isn't a necessity.
