Can I have a full-time job as a part-time Postgraduate Researcher (PGR student)?

Yes, you can keep a full-time job while you're a PGR student but you must make sure you set aside enough time for your studies. If you've registered as a part-time PGR student with us since September 2018 you should be spending at least 16 hours per week on your research degree. If you joined us before then the rules are different and PGR students are expected to spend at least 12 hours a week on their research. So do think carefully about how your job will affect your ability to study.
